Questions from hosts
Is it really free?
Yes: Infernal Trivia Host is free during launch, with no credit card. If that ever changes, you will be told well in advance, and nothing will be charged without your say-so.
Do players need a phone?
No. Teams answer on the printed sheet, the old-fashioned way. No app to install, no battery drama, no googling under the table.
The bar wifi is terrible. Will it work?
Your uploaded files are preloaded when the night starts, and you can keep an offline backup (a single HTML file) on the computer. YouTube clips do need internet: for a clip you cannot lose, upload a file.
Can I use my own questions?
Of course. Write them in the editor or import them from Excel or CSV, and mix them with questions from our bank. Yours stay private to your venue.
We have several hosts. Can we share?
Yes. Invite your co-hosts to your venue: everyone shares the quizzes, logos, themes and break screens, each with their own login.
What about copyright on clips?
You are responsible for what you upload. That is why we strongly recommend YouTube: the video plays through YouTube's own player. Uploaded files stay private and are only served to your venue's hosts during your nights.
Which languages?
French and English, for the interface and for your quizzes. Each quiz has its own language, and its answer sheet follows.
